Job Description:
Assumes responsible charge of assigned lift. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting guests, snow removal, creating a comfortable atmosphere for guests, recordkeeping and maintaining a clean, orderly, safe work area. Carries out Lift Operator responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS
- Responsible for safe operation of assigned lift
- Responsible for the safety of all guests and employees while loading, riding and unloading lifts.
- Assists all guests and employees with loading lifts.
- Maintains ramps, signs, mazes and lift stations in a safe, clean, orderly manner.
- Maintains an operational log book as required.
- Maintains clean and orderly work stations.
- Monitors weather and mechanical conditions.
- Participates in required Lift Operator training sessions.
- Works with other departments in cooperative and supportive role.
- Assists in training of other Lift Operators.
- Shovel and clear snow from life loading and unloading areas, as well as the chair lift seats.
- Greet and scan guests and employee lift tickets and season passes
- Understand and efficiently utilize scanning equipment for visits, hot passes, emergency contacts, etc.
- Ability to communicate clear instructions and direction to guests, regarding their safety, the lift safety and fellow guests.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, color, peripheral and depth visions. Must possess ability to adjust focus, talk and listen. Must be able to read.
- Hearing is essential to this position. Must be able to hear high frequency sounds, as well as communicate with coworkers, and guests in order to prevent potential risks.

WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, low and high voltage equipment in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to the risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and is frequently exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment can be very loud according tot eh job task and location. Employees are required to work in an environment requiring varying heights.
Expected Schedule The ski area is open Thursday - Monday, except during the holiday periods when it is open daily. Schedules vary and will include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the sale of products from the Hampton Lodge Food Court. To offer the highest quality product with exceptional service. Keeping the Food Court and Deck clean and stocked with condiments and product. Complete guest satisfaction is the ultimate goal.
The atmosphere is team directed and a supportive environment. This person should be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment under some pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and exceptional guest service at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS
- Operate an assigned cash register for a working shift.
- Responsible for a $300 bank as well as the days transactions.
- Reconcile and balance receipts to a systems sales report and register tape.
- Fill out daily cash sales reports.
- Bussing and end of shift clean up.

Estimated Overtime Overtime hours paid at time and a half may occur during holiday periods in December and February. Overtime wage is paid after 56 hours per week.

Knowledge of bussing operations, money handling procedures and food service in general. Exceptional money handling skills. Guest service oriented.

Drug Screening Policy Mission Ridge conducts random drug testing a minimum of once per month. Any employee with a positive test result will be terminated immediately.

Additional Costs (i.e. Bond) There is a $300 damage and cleaning deposit. Utilities are included in the cost of rent. Features Housing is provided by the employer in a duplex or house. There are 2-3 bedrooms in each unit with 2 beds per room. 4-6 individuals share housing space of mixed gender. Housing is located 12 miles from the ski area, with transportation to work provided by the employer. Both the duplex and house are fully furnished and have a stove, microwave, refrigerator, telephone, internet access and possibly laundry facilities. The duplex is 3/4 of a mile from town, on the way to the ski area. The house is located in town, approximately 1 block from the city bus route. The distance to grocery store, bank, entertainment is 3/4 of a mile to 3 miles. Students should bring their own towels and sheets.
