Job Description: Ski Lift Operator
Your duties as a ski lift operator will include but are not limited to the following: working in outdoor cold weather temperatures for long periods of time; assisting guests on and off of chairlifts and tows; providing safe and pleasant services to guests; ensure safe operation of machinery; various other duties as assigned. Due to changing demands of business, it is sometimes necessary to shift employees from their primary positions to other areas.
Job Description: Rental Shop Technician
Your duties as a Rental Shop Technician will be to assist guests by safely selecting, fitting, and issuing boots, bibs, skis, snowboards, and poles, and adjusting the boot binding system according to manufacturer's specifications. Other duties as assigned.
Job Description: Food & Beverage Cook
Your duties as a Food & Beverage Cook include preparing menu items in advance and upon guests' request according to Winterplace's standards. This position involves both prep food and quick service food.

End Date: March 15/2011 - Not earlier than March 15th.
Required skills:
You will be working directly with guests of the ski resort so it is required that you have a strong command of the English language. As this position is an outdoor working atmosphere, you should be able to work in cold weather conditions for long periods of time, you should be able to lift weights of 50 pounds as you will be helping guests on and off of lifts, you should enjoy working with people and possess a pleasant personality and be flexible to accept tasks as requested by supervisors.

Dress Code (incl. Uniforms) Uniform must be worn while on duty. -Dress Code- Winterplace supplies Ski Lift Operators with a uniform shell jacket; you must supply your own snow pants.
Grooming High standards of grooming and personal hygiene should be observed at all times while at work and on property. A daily bath or shower, clean hair, and tooth brushing are a must. Fingernails must be clean, short, and well manicured. All employees are required to wear a clean, neatly pressed, authorized uniform while working. Males must be clean-shaven and wear their hair above the collar. Females with long hair must secure hair away from the face. No facial piercings or tattoos allowed.
Additional info: Weekly hours and ski resort opening and closing dates are highly dependent on weather conditions and snowfall, but weekly average hours throughout the entire ski season is over 30 hours. Due to the weather-dependent nature of this position, if you are receiving less than 30 hours per week at any time during the season, Intrax will not replace you in another job. You must choose to accept the weather related risk if you accept this position. Due to changing demands of business, it is sometimes necessary to shift employees from their primary positions to other areas. For example: A Ski School Instructor may need to help as a Parking Attendant or a Rental Shop technician may need to help as a Food and Beverage/Utility person. From time to time Winterplace employees may also be supervised by other companies as directed by Winterplace.

Housing Provided: YES
Housing Information: Housing has been arranged for you by your employer, and you must remain at the housing provided in order to work at Winterplace. Winterplace will provide free transportation to/from work.
Housing costs (estimate): $250 per month per person
Additional costs: Utilities such as gas, electricity, water, sewer, and garbage are extra.
Housing features: Housing will be provided by the employer and is located near the resort. Housing has minimal furnishings (bed, sofa, table & chairs). You must provide your own sheets and towels. Transportation to/from work will be provided at no charge to you by Winterplace Ski Resort.
